Principal Jana Simoneaux leads the Panthers at Morgan Elementary School. She has 21 years of experience in education, all in Lamar CISD. Mrs. Simoneaux has served as a classroom teacher, Campus Instructional Technology Specialist, Math Coach, EB Coach, and assistant principal throughout her career. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and is passionate about fostering a collaborative school culture, building leadership capacity among staff, and ensuring all students are provided with opportunities to succeed at high levels. As a proud Lamar CISD alumna, she graduated from Terry High School and is deeply connected to the community she serves.
